Hyperlink window problem
Hey Smart Guys!
I have a spreadsheet with a hyperlink for each row of information. The hyperlink opens a website with a Java TIFF viewer application. It's in a new window, but it lands right on top of the excel spreadsheet. I need to tell it to open in a new window with a a different coordinate. My user needs to view the doc and enter items from the viewable into the spreadsheet. At least 100 every week. It takes too much time to move the window everytime. I've tried using a javascript and several other things to make it happen, but I'm missing something. Thanks for the help! |

Hyperlink window problem
The Java Tiff viewer is activated as part of the execution
of the following link. I'm not savvy enough to figure out what's going on behind the scenes at this point. http://www.countyclerk.bexar.landata...wDocument.asp? iRecordID=11557&System=FN&RecID=11528 If you throw this into a browser, it resizes the browser and opens the tiff on the left side of the screen, which would work great for us. As an excel hyperlink, the new window sits on top of the excel window, which is annoying. I've got a steep learning curve ahead of me to be able to build a vba form as you suggested. At this point I think I get the concept, but have no clue where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -----Original Message----- well you could just use a vba form with a browser control on it. then you have control of the forms properties such as where it opens how do you call the java tiff deal?
