Are you sure you can't import a .csv? I do an import to
Solomon from a .dat file simply because my data is in a multi-page workbook, so I first have to run an agent to grab the excel data and store it in a .dat file. But - assuming you import it into Solomon using a .ctl file and in the import screen you specify the data file that you're using - I would think that the .cvs would be fine. If not, in answer to your actual question: did you try opening your .csv file using notepad and simply saving it with the new extension? -----Original Message----- I have a .CSV file that contains data that I need to import into my accounting package which is Solomon.
