data validation shortcutting
 

does anyone know how i can do this?:
i have a data validation cell,used as a dropdown, and i want it to
change to the first element when you type in a 1, and to the second
element when you type in a 2 and so on.

AFAIK this can't be done with the data validation listboxes.
