how to i use auto filter on a protected worksheet
 

my excel list is very long. i want to enable the autofilter to mak
things easy for users going through the database. however, my databas
is protected and the filter cant be used on it. so how do i go abou
doing it

There are instructions here for allowing filtering on a protected
worksheet (the AutoFilter must be in place before the sheet is protected):
