SQL.Request from Oracle Database
I am using Excel 2000 and have discovered SQL.Request just recently. I am trying to use it to connect to some tables to perform a standard select query in an Oracle 8.1.7 database. However, I can't find any examples specific to Oracle and my trial and error method has not been successful yet. Can anyone provide me with an example or two that have actually worked?

SQL.Request from Oracle Database
Not Oracle, but this file might be a help:
http://www.bygsoftware.com/examples/...SqlRequest.zip It's in the "Excel with Access Databases" section on page: http://www.bygsoftware.com/examples/examples.htm This workbook demonstrates how to get data direct from an MS Access table, or from an open or closed MS Excel workbook using the workbook function SQL.REQUEST. Recently updated to show the use of SQL.REQUEST in the same workbook. The code is open and commented. -- Regards Andy Wiggins www.BygSoftware.com Home of "Save and BackUp", "The Excel Auditor" and "Byg Tools for VBA" "CraigRhino" wrote in message ...
