Create Folder / Copy Folder / Replace
In ManagerStuff.xls, I have three columns, account managers in th
column A, the last names of clients in column B, first names of client in column C, and ID numbers in column D. How do I create a folder fo each account manager with a folder for each customer inside th managers folder. The list of names is continuous, though the number of managers, th number of clients per manager are both unknown, and the number o clients for each manager not all equal. Start with a folder named NewManager on the C:Drive, wit ClientStuff.xls in it. This is a list of what I want to happen: ·For each manager in ManagerStuff.xls on Managerinfo sheet duplicate folder on the C: Drive named NewManager name it (the Manager’s name from column A in manager.xls and place on the C: Drive ·Take the clients names for each manager and paste them i ClientStuff.xls which is now in each of the managers folders. ·For each client in each manager’s ClientStuff.xls on the ClientInf sheet ·Duplicate the Sheet named Last, First in ClientStuff.xls for eac client and name it Smith, John (Last name from column A i ClientStuff.xls, First name from column B in Client.xls) ·In each managers folder there is a folder named communication ·Add a folder for each client and name it Smith, John (Last name fro column A in ClientStuff.xls, First name from column B i ClientStuff.xls) in the communications folder ·For each row in the ClientStuff.xls on the Clientinfo sheet replac Last, First with Smith, John (Last name from column A i ClientStuff.xls, First name from column B in Client.xls) ·After this is done each manager should have a folder named with thei name with a file called ClientStuff.xls, that has each of their client on a sheet named Clientinfo, and a sheet for each client Last, First Each link to Last, First sheet that has been duplicate should now b linked to the respective sheet. Lastly I need code for the following: ·For every client in ClientStuff.xls find the row in MeetingStuff.xl on sheet Daily that has Last, First (ID#) in column A, copy C:F and H: copy and paste into ClientStuff.xls on sheet by the same name Last First onto cells E13:J13 Is this all possible? E-mail me at for the other files as thei is only space for one to be attache -- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com |
