copying cells with formulas, but to keep it alike in destination

Hello,

I am a bit confused on the copying function.
I know about absolute and relative and when yu copy ..it
can carry to relative formulas to the destination. Doing
it like you did from the source.
I want to copy it ( the value and the formula eactly as
it is to the destination. I have too many cells to go
back and add the $ to each one.
So is there quick way to do this that i am not aware of??
like a key to hold down or..?

Heres what i have:

in cells D7:D14..i have a sum formula and its value
returned. Now i want to paste it to the cells below in
D24:D31. What it does it shows the relative formulas for
the cells exact number below and etc...I dotn want the
relative value or formula. just the exact value and
formula of the first cells.

Any help??

thanks! mike

Sub CopyFormulas()
For i = 7 To 14
Range("D" & i + 17).Formula = Range("D" & i).Formula
Next i

End Sub

Just based on your example, it would add 17 to 7 and put the formula for d7 in d24, d8 in d25, etc.
