Inserting a Listbox in a cell
Can anyone suggest a method of inserting a Combobox or listbox within a whole lot of cells? Ie. When i click on the cell, a list appears whereby i can choose from a number of codes and the selected code will appear on the cell that was clicked. |

Try Data Validation
In B1:B5 enter a, b, c, d, e Select A1 From the Data menu, choose Validation In the Allow dropdown box, choose List For Source: =B1:B5 Click OK Now whenever you select A1, you get a dropdown list (which is enforced) If you don't want it enforced then on the Error Alert tab untick the Show error alert tickbox If you want to use a lookup list from another sheet then you have to make the list a named range. eg. If Sheet2!B1:B5 has a name of my_list For Source: =my_list -- Rob van Gelder - http://www.vangelder.co.nz/excel "Xavier S." wrote in message ...
