I wish to send a fix to a friend, which will require me
remotely importing some new code into a specific place in
a module and removing some old code.

Can somebody give me a bit of a clue?

Not sure if you can replace specific parts or not, but I
do know that you can import code, and replace code.

Best place to see an example of this is:

www.erlandsendata.no/english/

It's very good - just type 'Module' into it's search
