Excel2000 VBA - Workbook size increases abnormally.

Hi!

I am using macro (VBA Project) in Excel 2000.

The macro just records the old value and new value of a cell on chang
and stores it in another sheet. The macro is Digitally Signed.

When I type data in few cells and save workbook, the size of th
workbook increases abnormally - almost doubled.

After saving 4-5 times, it goes into MBs (upto 64 MB or more). Then th
workbook is non-accessible giving not enough memory error. (Please not
that the data is entered hardly in 7-8 cells).

Is this due to macro virus? (I have read about macro virus pdlt/Larou
for Excel 97. Also, there is tool to remove this virus for Excel 97 o
microsoft site. But not for Excel 2000)

Please help...Thanks

Experiment by removing sheets, modules and userforms until you find the
fault.

I once had this problem with a corrupt userform. One of the controls (I
forget which type) was causing the problem. I removed the control, recreated
it and all was fine from then on.
