How to store organization wide macros?
 

For personal reusable macros we have personal.xls in the XLstart dir.
Is there an equivalent (read-only) to store macros to use by all
people in my organization?

Best way is to put them in an addin, and then install the addin for all
users.

I put organizational macros in personal.xla (or a file name you prefer), in
their start directories. Then they can still have their own personal.xls
