Sending Email Notification of a completed VBA process

Does anyone know the best way to send email notification of a completed VBA
process of an Excel Procedure. I DON'T want to send the Excel spreadsheet,
just notification that the vba ran successfully. Also, I have an excel
report running unattended - it is scheduled
