finding a Color Formatted Cell and then displaying a cell's value in same row??
 

Hello,
this appears to be an easier one, but......

I have a sheet with a table of data that is basically all values
derived from formulas that read off of the main data sheet. Pretty
standard.

In column H, there are values that i have 'conditionally formatted' to
turn
red if the value is over 6.0%. that work's great.

I also came up with a formula to Count the number of cells in column H
if over 6.0%, which also works great:
=COUNTIF(H3:H92,""&TEXT(H$1,"0%")) . with the testing parameter limit
of 6% being in cell H1.

column A has the sample number that will need to be retested if the
value in
H is over 6.0%. the value in column H will always correspond to
sample number in column A, ie, always same row.

WHAT WOULD BE GREAT IS TO HAVE A GROUP OF CELLS THAT DISPLAY THE
CORRESPONDING
VALUE IN COLUMN A OF THE CELLS THAT ARE OVER 6.0% IN COLUMN H. then i
would have a message box display the actual sample numbers that needed
retesting.

so i would think i need a way to reference the value in column A if
the value
in column H is either: formatted red, or exceeds 6.0%.


Any help on this will be appreciated,

For example in Cell "A1" =IF(H16.0%,H1,"")
