Excel-Macro running through SQL update.
Im trying to include an SQL update in my Excel workbook.
To update the database valuse Im using : ActiveWorkbook.RefreshAll ... Followed by a recalculation of the workbook: Calculate ... And finally i save the file as an .HTM using the current date: With ActiveWorkbook.PublishObjects("MYworkbook") .HtmlType = xlHtmlStatic .Filename = "Path" & DateVariable & ".htm" .Publish (False) End With After all this the data has not been updated. Is there a way of suspending the macro once it calls the SQ recalculation (even if it is a set time, say 10 seconds). Im not an expert in VB so a simple solution would help tones!
