Troubles opening a CSV file from code
I just upgraded from Excel 2000 to 2002, unfortunately a
functionality I use disappeared (or I am missing something). What I am trying to do is create an excel instance from an other VBA enabled program (iFix 2.6) and open a CSV file: Set objExcel = CreateObject("excel.application") objExcel.Visible = True objExcel.Workbooks.Open "test.csv" What happens is that the file is opened but the delimiters are not recognised (everything is just put into the first column). The weird thing is that when I omit the last line and open the file from the menu (file, open) everything works fine. I am using a french Excel version on Win2000 and I am convinced the regional settings are correct. Like I said: this worked fine in Excel 2000, why not in 2002?????? |
