Very New in Excel Programming
 

Hello Everyone,
I am trying to see if I can create background code for Excel, something that will run heavy code on Cells.
Now I was looking for an SDK and I stumbled on many different possibilities. Could someone provide me with some info about what is the best way to go.
Also I saw something called XLLs. Are these like plugins?
