how can a user form be made that can find show and edit info for inventory
 

i need some help i am doing inventory for a carpet biz and i have my work
books and formulas all done but i need to know how to make a user form that
can find a specific item number in "col a" display all the data in that row
and let me edit specific datd in those columns. i know it can be done but i
am stumped i have looked online and could not find any thing last time i did
a set up like this i used access and excel but they dont have that for me to
work with. i will work with vb or macros what ever as long as it works good.
any suggestions.
and if possible get it to work the entire work book there is one sheet per
product line carpet/carpet rem/vinyl/vinylrem etc... thanks in advance for

Probably what you are after is AutoFilters
From the Data menu, Filter | AutoFilter
