VBA to add group divider to custom menu

XL2000 on W2K - Is it possible to add a group divider (the
vertical grey line) to a built in menu bar and place it
before a custom menu built by code. I can do it manually
but not in VBA. The manual manipulations do not record.

TIA,
ken
