Reduce file size
 
Hi,
I was wondering if there are any shortcuts to reduce the
size of a file. I have a file that is 28MB and contains
three macros, a tab with raw data (approx 50 x 500 rows),
a tab to code the data using lookups, and two tabs with
drop-downs to generate reports. I realize it may be
difficult to give advice without viewing the file, but
thought there may be some easy things that I may be
missing. Any thoughts? Thanks

Reduce file size
 
Matt,

Excel probably thinks that your worksheet(s)
are larger than they should be.
For a quick test, press Ctrl + End to see where
Excel thinks your last row and column of data is
on each worksheet.

Reduce file size
 
That was it! My file size went from 28MB to 11MB. Thanks
for your help.
