application.quit will not shut off application
 

I have a link that runs a micro. Whenever i run the macro
from excel auto_open will start the micro and application.
quit will shut if off. However, when run the micro from a
link it will run the macro but it will not quit
application. It seem as if after macro has been ran, it
auto open the macro but this time attempt to download. any
help will be great
