my XL application shows at start time a message that the application tries
to initalize AcitveX components which could be unsecure. This only have
happened since XL2003.
How to avoid this message?

I've been having the same problem too. I've made the recommended changes
to the registry manually, used the Group Policy editor to make changes,
and even used the Office 2K3 Resource Kit to no avail.

Is anyone else having this problem or is this a relatively isolated issue?
