Run Excel add-in on client side
Dear All,
Not quite sure if this is the correct place to post this. I have an Excel report which uses an Excel Add-in to retrieve data from a proprietary database. Users are allow to select the dates that are of interest to them and view this excel report from the web. The add-in will then retrieve the data according to the dates. However, due to licensing issue, the Add-in is only installed on the web server, hence the formula that was to be executed by the Add-in turns out as #NAME in cells. Is there any way where I can implement this so that the after the excel report actually uses the add-in in the web server and does not try to find it in the client PC? Regards, Sylvia |
