Excel Display Problem???

For some reason my cell keeps displaying the formula. If I clear all
contents it works fine. But as soon as I enter another formula it shows the
formula again.

Any ideas why? And how to fix this?

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Mike,

Go into ToolsOptions and on the View tab, see if the Formulas checkbox is
set. If so, unset it.

Excel Display Problem???

Michael

Sounds like the cell is formatted as Text.

Clear the contents and Format to General.

Re-type the formula.

If you have a whole whack of these, select all and EditReplace

What: =
With: =

Replace All.

Another possibility

format the cell as General rather than text
