start with this, and then change references as needed: in Column A enter: household otherword household household In column B put some numerical values ex: 300 300 300 300 In cell C1 enter: (fill this formula down col) =IF(A1="household",B1*2,"household not entered") ' here b1 * 2 is the math formula carried out if "household" is in the adjacent A column cell --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |
