I think to utilise the ? button, you need to create help
files which I don't know how to do. You could have a brief explanation of each button appear when the mouse is over it by using the ControlTipText property. Also you could put your own button with a ? on the form have have it display a text box containing instructions. If you do this then create 2 textboxes. Make the second one a copy of the first and set it's visible property to false. Then under the change event of the first on put Textbox1.text = textbox2.text That way no one can delete anything or change your text. -----Original Message----- Hello everyone, I post I message a cople a days back regardin the button with the question mark on it in the forms, eny way, can somebody help, I try to activate this button to have some kind of help for all user where they can be directed with every button and textbox that gose in the from. pls. some help, also I found in the web a html help workshop, can you point me to a site to get some more inf. in how to work with it. again, thanks . |

For some information on how to connect HTML Help files to Office applications, see the resources listed under the "Microsoft Office" heading at: http://www.mshelpwiki.com/index.php?...MLHelpArticles also I found in the web a html help workshop, can you point me to a site to get some more inf. in how to work with it. There's a good tutorial he http://mvps.org/htmlhelpcenter/htmlh...tutorials.html And if you want to buy a book on the subject, the best is probably Jeannine Klein's "Building Enhanced HTML Help with DHTML & CSS". http://www.jmek.net/html_help/overview.html -- Pete (Microsoft Help MVP) |
