Hello,

I'm a complete newbie and not to savvy with programming in
excel. Is there a free website I can go to learn about
things such as what DIM , Declaration, Strings, etc...
mean the "Dummy" way?

I learn easy by looking a simple examples which describe
exactly what each line means and its purpose...

Thanks in advance

BowD,

The best place to learn is right here on the web.
Google has the archives of every question and answer thread that's
been posted in the newsgroup. If you learn how to use the Google
search well, you'll find that 95% of anything you might think to
ask about has already been asked (and answered). For the other 5%,
you've just discovered the newsgroups.
There are many Excel related sites with more information than you
ever thought you wanted you know.

Back to your original question.....
One of these sites:
http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/excel.htm
has a list of tutorials where you can begin your knowledge quest.

For a good list of links to all of the other Excel related sites, try he
