Inserting Functions
Is there some syntax that will allow me to insert a
function into a spreadsheet using oledb? I have tried using '=RTD("Server",,"Value", "Value"' but Excel interprets this as text. I want Excel to interpret this as a formula. |

I assume the missing ) is a typo in your message. If you change the number format of the cell to be other than text and press F2 and then Enter does the function function? If so, then you may need to do the equivalent of that after getting the data in, something like: With ActiveCell.QueryTable.Columns(2) .NumberFormat = "General" .Formula = .Formula End With Bill Manville MVP - Microsoft Excel, Oxford, England No email replies please - reply in newsgroup |
