Compile error distMon
 

When I load Excel XP a dialogue box captioned VBA appears
to inform me that there is an compile error in a module
distMon.
I have no idea what this means or how to fix it.

I'd appreciate any and all help

Hi Rick,

When I load Excel XP a dialogue box captioned VBA appears
to inform me that there is an compile error in a module
distMon.

Find a file called pdfwrite.xla (on your HD). Delete it.

Now start Excel, choose Tools, add-ins and find an add-in that relates
to acrobat. Try to select it and have Excel remove it from the list.
