Default Having trouble posting messages

Sorry for such a crazy question, but I'm having one heck of a time
submitting posts to microsoft.public.excel.programming, and finding
those that I submitted! How is this possible?

I used Netscape 7.1 (Windows 2000) to send the same post on two
separate days, and neither ever appeared (using two different web
interfaces: Google and Microsoft Communities, and using two different
newsreaders aimed at msnews.microsoft.com: Netscape 7.1 and Outlook
Express 6).

Then, I submitted the message a third time via Google Groups (on
12/10/2003 9:35 AM EST), and later found it on Google, dated
2003-12-10 06:35:48 PST, along with a response from Tom Ogilvy (thanks
Tom!) dated 2003-12-10 09:43:34 PST. However, I can ONLY find the
thread by searching on Google. Using the other methods of accessing
microsoft.public.excel.programming, it is as though the exchange never
happened!

How can this be? I've never had a problem submitting posts to
newsgroups (including this one) in the past. Any ideas?

Many thanks,

Tom Kreutz

P.S. I'm posting this query through Google also.
