Changing the vlookup cell
Hi,
I have 50 odd sets of data from a survey in an excel table and have used vlookup formulae to display the results in a template of the original format in another sheet, based upon each respondent. I now need to be able to display each case respondents data in the template individually, and basically change the value that is in the vlookup cell? what would be the best way to do this? Many Thanks Jcalvert --- Message posted from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |

Do you currently have formulas like =VLOOKUP("Fred", Table, 3, False) and you want to change them so that instead of "Fred" in each formula you take the respondent's name from a worksheet cell? If so, simply replace "Fred" by the address of the worksheet cell. Bill Manville MVP - Microsoft Excel, Oxford, England No email replies please - reply in newsgroup |
