macro how too?
we enter data every 8 weeks into a spread sheet. this spread sheet has
become large enough to make locating data entry points difficult. I have recorded a macro that allows data entry on a separate work sheet that is than transferred onto the main record. it worked first time round but of course all the insertion points have changed and any subsequent transfers. I believe I need to write a subroutine that will take this into account, e.g. insert line at every 7 position; change this to 8th line, than 9th etc. I can post the file to anyone who could help. tia mike |

mike
Sub copy_to_bottom() Sheets("Sheet1").Range("A1").Copy Destination:= _ Sheets("Sheet2").Cells(Rows.Count, 1).End(xlUp) _ .Offset(1, 0) End Sub Copies A1 from Sheet1 to cell below last used cell in Sheet2 Column 1 The 1 in (Rows.Count, 1) indicates the column number. Have you tried using the built in data form? (select Form
from Data menu) -----Original Message----- we enter data every 8 weeks into a spread sheet. this spread sheet has become large enough to make locating data entry points difficult.
