Hi...

I have a cell that will show the value 1 if an error is
made in user input. This in turns creates a cell that says
ERROR MESSAGE in bold red. How can I make this flash...

I really hope you reconsider - blinking text is an abomination and a
plague on humanity. But if you must, a search of the archives, using
"text blink" (no quotes) should get you going:
