Default excel shuts down when text is changed in cell

I have several calls in a column that are used to populate various
dropdowns on different sheets. When Macro's are enabled, excel will
shut down with the polite message saying that a problem was
encountered, with the option to notify microsoft, when the text is
changed in one of the cells.

With the macros disabled, it works fine.

It also only seems to happen on Excel 2002 Service pack 2.

Any ideas? This has gone out for beta testing.
