Create a "key"
Hi, i'm trying to write a macro that will search the sheet i am workin in and if the letters PY appear in a cell anywhere in the sheet th macro will return "PY = Prior Year" in column A, in a row beneath th last row being used. This i can do. However, i having searched for "PY" i then want the macro to search fo "BS" returning a value to the A column, beneath the lowest active row. Ideally i want to be able to repeat this for a variety of informatio searches, producing a key. I'm sure this is possible but my inability to do it is driving me mad please help me!! ----------------------------------------------- ~~ Message posted from http://www.ExcelTip.com ~~View and post usenet messages directly from http://www.ExcelForum.com |
