I have this code in my executable:

taskno = ActiveSheet.Range("c65536").End(xlUp).Value

taskno = Right(Year(Now()), 2) & "-" & Init & "-00"

If Left(taskno, 2) < Right(Year(Now()), 2) Then
taskno = Right(Year(Now()), 2) & "-" & Init & "-00"
End If
End If

I have other areas in my code looking for "Mid", "Left", "Right" an
changing text from mixed/lower case to UCase. In Excel 97 - this cod
worked fine. Now I get the "Compile Error, Can't find Project o
Library and the error stops on the "Right", "Mid", "Left" etc. I ge
this error in Excel 2000 and 2002.

I know I've run into this problem before, but for whatever reason,
can't seem to get to the answer now.

Basically, this code is to count a task number with a persons initial
based on the year the task is generated in.

The "result" would look like this: 03-TH-00 for the first task of th
year, then the next task would be 03-TH-01 and so on.
