Default excel VBA or VB6 -which one

I would liek to build a time tracking application in excel
for multi-users.

I AM IN AN ENVIRONMENT RUNNING BOTH MACS AND PC'S

Can I build an excel application to run on both PC Excel
and Mac Excel. If not will a tool built in VB6.

Note the macs and pc's both are connected to a dell "PC"
server. Where they both store files.

Thanks

If you build it in Excel using VBA and you don't use ActiveX controls the
windows API or things not supported in the MAC, it should run it both
environments. I doubt things built in VB 6 will run on a MAC.
