How can I ensure a message to the computer user is aknowledged?
I have a workbook that runs in the background that becomes the active
app when a certain ontime event occurs. I need to be able notify the computer user of details and answer a question yes or no. The problem is I realise that if the keyboard is being used at the time the message box appproach may be aknowledged without even being aware of the message in the first place. i.e. I need to inform the user of alarm and prevent the message from being ignored. How is this best done please? regards Gary |

Don't understand your logic here. Normally typing occurs in the currently active application. If a message box appears in Excel it sits there until Excel is activated and a correct key is pressed. In my experience there has never been a problem with this. ------------------------------------------------ ~~ Message posted from http://www.ExcelTip.com/ ~~View and post usenet messages directly from http://www.ExcelForum.com/ |
