Can I make some thing happen if I get a "reminder"

Is there a way, that when I have a reminder come up, that I can perform a
FUNCTION?
How about if I have a trigger word or something in the reminder, can I make
it do something?

Is there a way I can have EXCEL watch these and perform a function?

I am working in Excel, but I am using Outlook to keep track of my
appointments and such. My contacts are in Excel, and I am using Excel to do
all of my followups/etc, But, is there a way I can "tie" the calendar with
Excel for my appoint ments and such?

Thanks
Bruce

Can I make some thing happen if I get a "reminder"

Hi Bruce

This takes a little macro programming. At least on my Office2000 setup, I am
not familiar with the brand new version and its brand new Outlook.

Dick Kusleika has good things on Excel-Outlook at
http://www.dicks-clicks.com
and for general Office automation, I suggest you start at
