"lylahk" wrote in message ... I have been banging my head on my desk for the past 3 days trying to figure this one out. I have 2 worksheets. In cell b3 on sheet1 I have a dept number. On sheet2, I want to find cells that match this dept number and copy info from 2 columns to the right of dept number. ie: Store Dept LY Sales $ TY Sales $ 5899 DP301 SWEATERS 3023 6159 5758 DP301 SWEATERS 3379 2102 5273 DP302 KNITS TOPS 1476 1301 5225 DP302 KNITS TOPS 1386 1528 I want to copy all of LY and TY Sales to another sheet for the specific Dept given. This is actually a large file that copies multiple depts
on to different sheets and the vlookup links take up to 2 1/2 hours to update all links. Copying and pasting data shortened process to minutes. Unfortunately, the number of stores varies weekly and by depts. -----Original Message----- why won't vlookup("dp301",lookuprange,3,0) for ly and ,4,0 for ty work? "lylahk" wrote in message ...
