ActiveX Warning Message
Hi All,
We have an Add-In that uses ActiveX controls as part of its implementation. When we try to run this on Excel 2002 (XP), we get the following Yes/No warning: "This application is about to initialize ActiveX controls that might be unsafe. If you trust the source of this file, select OK and the controls will be initialized using your current workspace settings." I have two questions: - Is there a way for the user to set an option, so that this pop-up will not show, and the ActiveX control will be properly initialized? - How do I "sign" the ActiveX to prevent these errors? I know that there are registry keys that can be set for using ActiveX controls in Internet Explorer, but those keys don't seem to prevent this problem. Thanks, G72 |
