instead of what I always use msnews.microsoft.com
for account, and posting to the programming newsgroup.
Obviously I did not get the error

In fact I'm using Mozilla Thunderbird to access news.microsoft.com.
Every time I try to send a message (ie, post) to programming section, it
tolds me "A news(NNTP) error occurred: You are not allowed to post to
microsoft.public.excel.programming". But when post to newusers section,
everything is fine. Any idea about this?


you reported with Mozilla Firebird.

Don't know what version of Mozilla I have, but this is what

into programming and asked if it was read only. The thread in newsuser's is...
