Pivot table field formatting
Greetings,
If I change the formatting of a pivot column field to vertical text orientation, how do I retain this format after refreshing the table? (goes back to original horizontal format whatever I do up to now) TIA David |
Pivot table field formatting
The only way of changing a pivot table formatting permanently is to
change the default "Normal" Style. (Format/Style) which changes everything else Excel displays. After years of struggle I gave up trying to format pivot tables - is is so easy to link the data to a formatted worksheet.
