You don't have to be rude

I have to support John on this, Don's reply was funny+ACE- It's best if you have
a crack at the code yourself (make a start using the macro recorder) and
then ask questions when you get stuck, or ask when you have written the code
but it doesn't work like you expect. Then the really helpful - busy - folk
up on the ng will fill in the gaps for you.

James,

+AD4-You don't have to be rude
I assume that you're referring to the thread +ACI-Need Macro To Copy and Sort+ACI-
and the reply that you received from Don. Personally, I found Don's reply
rather
humorous and not at all rude.

Your post was more of a project than a question. We all enjoy helping
anyone who asks for help in the ng but we're not here to +ACI-build+ACI- your
project for you.

For someone to supply all the code that you need for your project
it would take them a considerable amount of time and you'd probably
have a hard time deciphering it (meaning you'd have your answer
but not have learned anything).

Might I suggest that you break your questions into smaller chunks
and repost them one at a time? As each question is answered, you'll
end up learning how it was done and eventually, you'll not only have
a finished project but will have a better understanding of how it works.

just my two cents......
John

+AD4- Some people have been very nice helping me with a couple
+AD4- of macros. If you're not interested, that's ok, just don't
+AD4- reply.
