Hi,
My problem is that I get a Compile error in the hidden module, sometimes initialization, sometimes utilities. Excel works ok, but gives this error every time it is opened or closed. I´m using Excel 97 over Win2K. I´ve uninstalled and installed back again, but the problem continues. Any suggestions? Thank you, Patricia |

Patricia,
Go to the Tools menu, choose Add-Ins, and take note of what add-ins are checked. Then, uncheck them all and restart Excel. If Excel starts normally, then one of those add-ins was at fault. Check the add-in that were initially checked, one at a time, restarting Excel after each one, until the error occurs again. That will tell you which add-in was at fault. You can either leave that add-in unchecked, if you don't need it, or contact the vendor for an updated copy if you do need it. -- Cordially, Chip Pearson Microsoft MVP - Excel Pearson Software Consulting, LLC www.cpearson.com "Patricia" wrote in message ...
