I'd take a serious look at John Walkenbach's menumaker program.
It looks very nice and is easy to update. http://j-walk.com/ss/excel/tips/tip53.htm wrote: I need to display a custom menu when a particular workbook is open. I am using VBA code that is right out of a book on Excel and VBA. The code is as follows: Private Sub Workbook_Open() Call AddMenu 'This runs the AddMenu macro. End Sub It is not working and I have spent way too much time on it. I think what needs to happen is to find a way to identify the specific workbook object so the Workbook_Open sub will know to run but I am not figuring out how to write this code. Thanks in advance for the help. This is a great group and I hope to get good enough at macros to start contributing myself. Ken -- Dave Peterson |
