Adding a reference under VBA

And, having copied this sheet into a new workbook, how do I then add to the new workbook a Reference to the old workbook ? I can do it manually, but I can't record my steps as a Macro. |

Explain how you do it manually - then we might have a better idea of what
you exactly mean by reference.
