Hi
I feel your pain. First of all: Make a backup of the file somewhere safe. Then the standard things to try is -remove all temp files -rename all toolbar files -try to open with macros disabled If still no good then various safe mode, re-registering and reinstalling are worth trying. See http://www.contextures.com/xlfaqApp.html#StartErrors -- HTH. Best wishes Harald Followup to newsgroup only please "ME" skrev i melding ... Hi,
Sometimes when excel crashes, the programme closes down but the process remains in memory. Try looking at you process list to see if EXCEL.exe is there if so, stop the process. Next time when you run excel run it with macros disabled and you should be able to rectify your problem. Hope this helps Nigel "ME" wrote in message ...
