Automation Error with Excel 97 in Windows 2000 with patch blaster
 

Hi:
I'd developed a solution that query a database and export
the results to an Excel file.
I'm using excel 97 and windows 2000. All work ok, until
I've installed the patch for blaster worm (KB824146), when
it stop to work and give the message "Automation Error".
If I restore back the rpcrt4.dll, rpcss.dll to the version
previous the patch installation, it work again, but I
think I'll be vulnerable to the worm.
Can someone give me a solution?
