Hi,
I was wondering if there are certain rules of thumb or hints I should be aware of when trying to use this feature. I have about 3000 lines of data that I'd like to filter. The field has many duplicates and so I'd like the top 10 customers with the most instances to show only. When I use the filter, nothing happens at all. I have a few sheets like this -- some have more than 10 customers and some have fewer than 10. I'm basically looking to rank them. I know I can use subtotals, but I thought that was what this feature was to do. Am I misunderstanding the purpose of this feature? Thanks for your input, Jenn |
