Device I/O Error (Error 57)

I am receiving a "Device I/O error (Error 57)" when running a procedure
using ADO and connecting to an external database and then coming back ansd
updating my worksheets. The procedure does what is is supposed to but I am
still receiving this error.

Anyone know why?
